    Ride:      400        Hilly        Flexible

    Leader:   Tim Koch, 488-8218,

The Oregon Tour for 2019 will be from July 21-27 with commute days to and from the Corvallis-Albany KOA on July 20 & 28.  We travel about 60 miles/day on the average. The route will be as follows:
Day 1 Corvallis KOA -  McMinnville Air and Space Museum(Home of the Spruce Goose)
    Day 2 McMinnville to Vernonia
    Day 3 Vernonia to Astoria
Day 4 Layover day in Astoria
    Day 5 Astoria to Tillamook
Day 6 Tillamook to Lincoln City
Day 7 Lincoln City to Corvallis-Albany KOA
Cost is $300/rider and includes 3 meals, beer, wine, 2 SAG vehicles and 2 trucks to carry all your camping gear.  This is a camping tour were we stay at schools and campgrounds.  If you want to stay at hotels along the way you are responsible for all your transportation to and from the hotel.  Maybe you would need to set up an Uber account.  No matter where you camp for the night you are expected to work on one cook crew during the week.  We travel the backroads of Oregon and in the Northwest part of Oregon with 4 days near the coast, we should be out of any smoke should there be some forest fires.  We definitely will escape the heat and maybe the smoke of the Sacramento Valley.
