&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt;Mt. Diablo Challenge – This is a supported event ride, not a regular club ride. We’ll warm up with an easy 2.9-mile ride from Monte Vista High School to the official start at the Athenian School. The timed challenge then climbs 11.2 miles and 3,249 feet to the summit of Mt. Diablo, averaging a 5.7% grade. After finishing, riders descend in escorted groups on a vehicle-free mountain road back to the start, then ride to Monte Vista High School for lunch, awards, and the vendor expo.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 14px;"&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;</description>
