The Sacramento Wheelmen Bicycling Club is a nonprofit organization for recreational cycling based in the Sacramento, CA, region. Most active members ride between 500 and 7,000 miles a year on club-sponsored rides. The majority of our rides are for road bikes. Non-member guests are welcome on our rides unless the ride leader states otherwise. Starting locations range from Winters in the west to the Foothills in the east. Many rides offer several options for distance and degree of difficulty. There are also multi-day rides scheduled throughout California on the club’s ride calendar.

The club prides itself on being a major resource in the Sacramento cycling community and a good friend to the community at large.

Every year the club recognizes a Sacramento Wheelmen of the Year and a Sacramento Volunteer of the Year. Besides receiving individual plaques, these members have their names placed on perpetual trophies. Take a look.
