Description:
Good evening wheelies: I have good news to report. The weather people are saying that Saturday's temperatures will be moderate with the projected high forecast to be 90. So ..... we're looking at a great day for a bike ride. The long route is 44 miles with 2600' of climbing. The climbs include Butler and Callison. Coffee at Baked & Brewed, located at 958 Lincoln Way in Auburn. After coffee, we meander through Auburn and the surrounding area. Return to start via Shirland Tract and Rattlesnake. The short route 27 miles, 1300' of climbing. Coffee at Newcastle Produce, Cypress St., downtown Newcastle. Both rides begin and end at Granite Bay Community Park, located on the corner of Douglas Blvd and Barton Rd in Granite Bay. 8:00 socialization, 8:15 sign in, 8:30 pedals down. I look forward to seeing many of you there.
