Saturday Morning Exercise Ride

Description:  

35 miles with 1950' of climbing. Water and bathrooms located in the boat launch area at the bottom of Rattlesnake (to a few of you that would be at the bottom of Marsha's finger ). For those of you who may be interested in shortening the route, turn right at the top of Powerhouse onto Auburn-Folsom Rd. You'll be back on the route when you cross Newcastle Rd. For those who might be interested in taking a coffee break, proceed past Powerhouse and follow Newcastle Rd into Newcastle. Newcastle Produce is located on Cypress St. in beautiful downtown Newcastle. Return to the route by going back down Newcastle Rd to Powerhouse and turn left. The ride begins and ends at Granite Bay Community Park, located on the corner of Douglas Blvd and Barton Rd in Granite Bay. 8:00 socialization. 8:15 sign in. 8:30 pedals down. I hope to see many of you there. Please ride safely, share the road with drivers and ride single file when in traffic or on narrow roads.
