Hello Wheelies: If you're looking for a ride that will take us out of the Valley heat, I've got the ride for you. On Wednesday, July 31, join me for a ride across Donner Summit via Old Highway 40 / Donner Pass Rd. This beautiful ride begins in Cisco Grove and follows the south fork of the Yuba River up over Donner Pass (elevation 7100'). For those of you who are looking for an even greater challenge, ride the extendo through Truckee, out to Alder Creek Rd, climb Wolfgang (10+%) and return to Cisco Grove via Donner Pass Rd. -Sheila
