Hello Wheelies: Nick and Helen Hourigan will again be leading this Saturday's ride. The routes will take us back to El Dorado County. The long route is 41 miles with 3200' of climbing. This route winds through Folsom and up Serrano. Rest stop at Double Shot Coffee Bar, 3381 Bass Lake Rd Ste 100, Sienna Ridge (Safeway) Shopping Center, El Dorado Hills (Serrano & Bass Lake Roads). Return route includes Starbuck, Deer Valley, Malcolm Dixon, Lakehills and back to the start. The short route is 31 miles with 2300' of climbing. Coffee break also at Double Shot Coffee Bar. Both rides begin and end in the traffic circle in front of the bathrooms at Granite Bay Community Park, located on the corner of Douglas Blvd and Barton Rd. 8:00 socialization, 8:15 sign in, 8:30 pedals down. Note: Having access to route navigation is a requirement for these Saturday morning Granite Bay rides. Printed cue sheets and maps are not provided by the ride leader. It's up to each rider to come prepared to ride, including having proper navigation for the route. Thank you for understanding.
