Description: This month’s Enduro is on Saturday, July 19, and starts in cool-weathered San Rafael. This ride will be a change of pace in all regards: weather, terrain, and backsides! Take in this inspirational haiku:

How can you resist?
The ride heads out of San Rafael over Lucas Valley and into Nicasio, pas the Cheese Factory, over the Marshall Wall, along the coast and Highway 1 to Point Reyes Station then back through Nicasio and Lucas Valley.
Park on the street in front of the Marinwood Community Center. There is a bathroom and water at the Community Center. We'll carry on over Marshall Wall, then head along the coast, and have lunch in Point Reyes Station at Mile 41 (plenty of food options). We can also stop in Marsahll at around Mile 30 for water and bathrooms if needed. And, since this is a lasso, we can make a final stop in Nicasio again as well at Mile 50 for water and bathrooms, or we can keep rolling.
Weather is weird in the Bay Area in the summer - it could be really warm, or it could be chilly. We'll play it by ear as we get closer to the date - the number of stops will most likely be dictated by weather. Even if it is on the warmer side, it will still be cool along the coast, but it will warm up as we head back inland and make that final climb over Lucas Valley back into San Rafael.
