Description: Both routes take the bike trail to Orangevale, get to Santa Juanita, and then Barton, turning on Rocklin Rd. The short route stops at the Starbucks at Rocklin Rd. and Sierra College (mile 17.2). The long route stays on Rocklin and takes Midas to Whitney, then Stanford Ranch. The long route skirts Whitney High School and takes East Joiner Parkway to Peet's in Raley's (mile 28.7). Both routes are on Sierra College going back, except for a safer detour through a busy intersection. We work our way back to Barton and then Auburn Folsom for the standard descent.
