Description:This Saturday is expected to be a mild, sunny, spring-like day with forecasted temperatures to be in the low 50s in the morning, rising into the 70s by the afternoon. Perfect day for a bicycle ride! The long route will be 48 miles with 3,000' of climbing. The route will take us to Bowman and then follow Old Airport and New Airport roads to the Bel Air Market, located on Plaza Way in Auburn (highway 49 and Atwood Rd). The short route will be 30 miles with 1700' of climbing and will go to Roanies Coffee, located at 3210 Boyington Rd, Loomis (near Penryn Rd and I-80). Both rides begin and end in the traffic circle in front of the bathrooms at Granite Bay Community Park, located on the corner of Douglas Blvd and Barton Rd. 8:30 socialization, 8:45 sign in, 9:00 pedals down. Note: Having access to route navigation is a requirement for these Saturday morning Granite Bay rides. Printed cue sheets and maps are not provided by the ride leader. It's up to each rider to come prepared to ride, including having proper navigation for the route. Thank you for understanding.
